What This Agent Does
Once both legs of a trade are matched on the same ledger record, a smart contract runs pre-settlement risk and limit checks and then executes delivery-versus-payment atomically — cash and securities move simultaneously in a single transaction, giving T+0 finality instead of the T+1/T+2 batch cycle. Legs still instructed to off-network CSDs and custodians fall outside the atomic contract and settle (or fail) on legacy market infrastructure timelines.
